MSJ offers an all-though education; this allows the School to build long term relationships, both academically and pastorally, with girls.

It allows the girls to thrive in a familiar environment where they have established friendships groups and routines whilst also encouraging girls to seek challenges outside of their comfort zone to gain confidence as future leaders. The Schools pastoral care is first-class and at the heart of the School community.

MSJ Prep is in the same building as the Senior School. This means the younger girls benefit from the specialist facilities Seniors have access to such as science labs, sport and art facilities. The specialist subject teachers from the Senior School also teach in Prep and support after School clubs.

During this period, assemblies, lessons and after school activities moved online mirroring the traditional School day. The adaptability and resilience of the School during this time puts it in good standing going forward.

The Founders’ Awards mark all-round excellence, including leadership and community involvement. The number of Awards given each year, and their value, are kept deliberately flexible so the School is able to reach the most deserving girls and address their individual circumstances.

MSJ has a generous Bursary programme which is designed to make it possible for as many girls as possible, who meet the School’s criteria, to take up a place. Means-tested bursaries are available and are worth up to a maximum of 40% discount from the fees, although the Founders’ Awards can go slightly higher.
