Celebrations as St Mary’s girls open their GCSE results

Girls at St. Mary’s, Gerrards Cross returned impressive GCSE results yet again this year. With 100% of girls achieving A* – C grades in 5 or more subjects and more than two thirds of the results overall graded A*-B. Over 50% of the girls achieved A* – B in at least 6 subjects and many of the subjects, including English, History, Biology,  Religious Studies and Art and Design recorded more than 70% of all papers at A* – B grades. History, which switched to the IGCSE this year achieved 75% A*/A.

Mrs Ross, the Headmistress commented, “I am so pleased for our girls.  They worked really hard and remained focused throughout their GCSE studies.  I am delighted to see their commitment and determination being so amply rewarded.  Congratulations also to my very talented and dedicated team of teachers for whom this is equally a fitting tribute.”
