Champion Swimmer Annabel Thanks Teachers
Meanwhile champion swimmer Annabel Guye-Johnson is celebrating 5A*s, 5As and 1B in her GCSEs. Annabel, who attends Kent College, Pembury, competed at the British Swimming Championships Rio Olympic Trials this summer. She is quadruple junior and senior Kent Champion in the 50, 100 & 200 metres breast stroke and 200 IM and has broken and holds many Kent records.
She said: “I am delighted with my results. Thank you so much to all my teachers – Kent College has supported me in and out of the classroom over the past few years. If I have had to miss a lesson, due to swimming competitions, the teachers always made sure that when I returned I was fully up to speed with what I had missed. I am really looking forward to the next two years and focusing on subjects that I love.”
