Friday 27 January saw our James Allen’s Preparatory School school hold its annual cross country competition on JAGS playing fields.
Ten other schools participated in this hotly contested event. Every JAPS year group performed really well. The Y3 team won in their age group. In Y4 Sophia Sahai finished in 1st place helping to achieve 2nd place for the Y4 team. Eva Maignan in Y5 ran a great race and achieved 1st place overall with Trinity Shaw securing 3rd place and Olivia Codington finishing 6th, ensuring our Y5 team came 2nd in their grouping. Lastly the Y6 team won their heat, thanks in no small part to Annabella Bailey’s impressive performance winning this heat by a significant margin.
Well done to all the girls who took part and congratulations to our JAPS pupils for winning the overall competition!
