The Kingsley School host over 300 local pupils at the Infant Agility Competition
Over 300 children from 12 different local schools competed in The Central Warwickshire Schools’ Sports Partnership Infant Agility Competition alongside hosts The Kingsley Preparatory School at their extensive sports fields in Sandy Lane on Tuesday 7th March.
The competing schools included from Leamington Spa; Briar Hill, Clapham Terrace, Cubbington, Emscote House, Shrubland Street, St Josephs, St Peter’s and St Paul’s; also taking part was St John’s School, Kenilworth, St Lawrence School, Napton-on-the-Hill and Our Lady’s School, Rugby. There was friendly competition but with a lot of determination, teamwork and supportive cheering throughout the day!
Children competed across seven different agility athletic events with a few children trying new events for the first time. The Cubbington School team were the overall winners.
The Kingsley School’s Sixth Form A-level PE Students assisted in the planning and organisation of this hugely successful sporting event and Senior School Sports Ambassadors from Years 9 and 10 helped to support the younger children on the day.
