LEHMUN 2017 Conference

LEHMUN 2017 Conference

1 March 2017

They debated on a diverse range of topics from promoting the economic and social inclusion of refugees, to the question of combatting exponential nuclear proliferation in the Middle East and the introduction of a global language. There was an extremely high standard of debate across all delegations and committees and it was very encouraging to see so many first time delegates enjoying their initial taste of MUN. We hope that you will be back! LEH girls very ably represented Indonesia, Italy and Singapore and particular congratulations should go to Kaveri (UIVM) who was awarded Highly Commended delegate, representing Indonesia in the Human Rights committee.

We would like to extend our thanks to all of those at LEH who were involved in preparing for and running the conference, particularly the committee chairs from LEH, Hampton School and London Oratory School. Finally, the Secretaries General, Lucy (LVID) and Charlotte (LVIG), and their trusty Secretariat: Nessa (LVIH), Vasu (LVIB) and Leila (LVIF) worked fantastically hard to make the conference a success and should be richly congratulated for all of their efforts.
