Eleven year old St Swithun’s pupil Ayomide Cole from Hook has won both the 100m and 200m races at the Hampshire athletics track and field championships held in Portsmouth.
Competing in the U13 girls category, Ayomide broke a record set fifteen years ago with her 100m sprint and also broke the record for the 200m sprint. At the same competition Ayomide came second in 70m hurdles and third in the long jump.
Ayomide also competed at the Hampshire Multi-Events championships, and achieved third place in her first ever pentathlon.
