Regional winner for LEH at 2018 ARTiculation Prize

The Regional Heat was won by Annie Lee, from Lady Eleanor Holles School in Hampton, Middlesex.

At the Regional Heat 10 students aged between 16 and 19 made a 10 minute presentation about a work of art, architecture or an artefact of their choice in front of an audience and an adjudicator.

Schools that took part were Ashcroft Technology Academy, City of London Academy, Croydon High School, Lady Eleanor Holles School, Latymer Upper School, Notting Hill and Ealing High School, Radnor House, South Hampstead High School, Three Rivers Academy, Townley Grammar School and Wilson’s School

Darian Leader, psychoanalyst and author adjudicated this Regional Heat.

In London Regional Heats take place at Whitechapel Gallery, The Courtauld Institute of Art, Leighton House Museum and Saatchi Gallery and lead to the Regional Final at The National Gallery.

Dr Gabriele Finaldi Director of The National Gallery will adjudicate this year’s London Regional Final.

He will select one student to go through to the Grand Final at Clare College, University of Cambridge on the 9th of March, 2018.

The Grand Final will be adjudicated by Lord Smith of Finsbury, Chair of The Art Fund and Master of Pembroke College, Cambridge.

Over 1,000 students enter The ARTiculation Prize in England every year.
