GSA Head Counters Economist Article

GSA Head Jane Lunnon (Wimbledon High School GDST) has written to The Economist to counter their article about single sex schools.

She says that her school is experiencing a 30% rise in applications and that objections to all-girls schools on the grounds of not preparing young people for the ‘real world’ miss the point. She goes on to say that single sex schools give girls space and time to grow and become confident in themselves, away from the ‘relentless’ sexualised environment they are faced with online which is very different from their parents’ own childhood.
