The ribbon was cut to officially open The Pavilion Café at MSJ’s Sports & Fitness Centre by Malvern St James’s Headmistress, Mrs Olivera Raraty.
Girls and staff at Malvern St James Girls’ School have long known that the food served at their school is first class, but now Malvern residents and visitors will be able to sample it for themselves. MSJ’s new café overlooks the school’s sports pitches and with plenty of space to sit inside, there’s also an outdoor seating area. There was a real buzz and excitement at the opening, which continued all day as people came to discover the new venue and take advantage of the free drinks that were served all day, expertly made by MSJ’s newly trained baristas.
“It’s wonderful to have this new café here at MSJ. The team behind it has worked so hard in getting it open and we hope everyone in the area will come and support it,” said Mrs Raraty.
The café offers an impressive range of drinks and mouth-watering food, including soup, paninis, cakes such as brownies, vegan chocolate and coconut tart and muesli bars and healthy snacks (salads, energy balls and fruit pots), all created by MSJ’s talented catering team. Babyccinos, food pouches and other snacks are also available for our youngest customers.
Mrs Anita Fisher, Head of Catering at MSJ said, “We’re all so excited about this new venture. We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of people from the local community and sharing our new venue with them.”
