Celebrating A-level Results at St Francis College

16 August 2018

St. Francis’ College is once again celebrating another impressive set of A-level results which continue to reflect improving performances. This year our pass rate is 100% A*-E grades. Over 30% of our girls have three or more A/A* grades, 72% A*-B grades and 94% of our year 13 students have their first choice university place.

We are so proud of all our Year 13 but especially our all A*/A: Olivia who was all A* and an A grade EPQ and is going to study Psychology at Kings, Kelly who is going on to study Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial, Amrit for Economics at Bath University and Alice, Architecture at Bath too. Others are off to study a wide range of subjects at Exeter, Loughborough, Warwick, Durham and so on.

Our Extended Project Qualifications were all graded A*/A.

Our Headmistress said: “I am delighted that the hard work of girls and staff has been realised by these excellent results. I am thrilled that nearly all of our year 13 students have their first choice of university. St. Francis’ College really makes a difference to girls’ outcomes through both our care and attention to their studies as well as their personal development”.

Julia, one of the parents, said: “My daughter has grown from being a reserved student to being a confident young woman – ready to take up her university place. Thank you, St. Francis’”.
