It’s A* and A for GSA top A level twins

Two sets of GSA school twins – from Lady Eleanor Holles School (Middlesex) and Royal High School Bath – are celebrating top marks in their A level results.

Gemma and Catherine King, who attend Lady Eleanor Holles School in Hampton, Middlesex, scored 10A*s between them. The girls, who will study Natural Sciences at Cambridge, are also impressive athletes. They rowed for England at the Home International Regatta in July this year, where they won the Junior Women’s Pairs title. They somehow also both found time to excel as musicians, achieving Diploma standard on the trumpet, trombone and piano.

Meanwhile Charlotte and Sophie Churchill from Royal High School, Bath scored a string of A*-A grades. Charlotte has two A* grades in Greek and Latin and A in Maths and Sophie has 3 As in English, French and Spanish). Charlotte will study Classics at Exeter while her twin Sophie will study French and Spanish at King’s College, London.

At Lady Eleanor Holles 95% students scored A* -B and achieved their places at their first choice university in the UK and US. At the Royal High School, Bath one in five girls scored all As and A*s in their A levels.
