It was with much excitement and anticipation that Notre Dame’s Sixth Form students today celebrated a record breaking set of A-level Results. 52% of all grades achieved were A* and A, double the national average and 10% higher than in 2017. 78% of girls gained A*- B and the girls achieved a 100% pass rate overall.

Mrs Anna King, Senior School Headmistress, said;

“To have gained such high results under the new reformed examinations system demonstrates the range and excellence of our teaching, the dedication of our teachers in supporting and encouraging every student and the perseverance and commitment of every girl. We are delighted”.

Notre Dame offers a broad range of subjects at A-level and the girls have accepted places at a diverse range of Universities to study an exciting array of courses.

Ella McIntosh was “ecstatic” to receive two A* and two A grades and is going to study Maths at Warwick University. Ex-Head Girl Manon Leary will be going to Durham to study Psychology.
