THE GIRLS of Saint Martin’s School have once again proven they are experts in their field – securing the Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull County Rounders title for the third year running.

Taking an unbeaten run into the finals, the Year 9 squad continued to display the talent and sporting prowess they have shown all term as they went head-to-head with Solihull School and Stratford Grammar School.

And their dominance on the pitch continued as they claimed victory over their rivals and secured a hat-trick of county titles.

“Everybody at Saint Martin’s is so proud of the Year 9 rounders team who have had a remarkable season, both batting and fielding, and have remained unbeaten throughout,” said Tracey Farnell, Head of PE at Saint Martin’s.

“The team have consistently demonstrated just how talented they are and have been rewarded with the honour of being County Champions for the third year in a row.

“We are all delighted.”

The Saint Martin’s Year 8 rounders team also enjoyed a successful season, finishing runners up in the Solihull Rounders Tournament.
