St Francis’ College sisters achieve National Children’s Orchestra places

Sisters, Elizaveta and Katerina Verzhbitskaya have both been offered, and accepted, places in the National Children’s Orchestras on viola; Elizaveta in the Main Orchestra (for children aged 14 and under) and Katerina in the U12 Orchestra.

With eight desks per orchestra, this means they are both in the top sixteen viola players for their age group in the UK. This is an exceptional achievement and demonstrates their dedication to their music. Furthermore, Elizaveta is primarily a violinist and started also playing the viola less than 9 months ago. Huge congratulations from the College to both of them.
