We are pleased to announce that Alexandra Haydon, Senior Teacher and Head of Science, has been shortlisted for the i25, which is an event to recognise the independent sector’s leading influencers and innovators.
Alexandra was nominated for her approach to Science education, teacher development, enterprise and her work with other schools locally. The event will be held in London on 21st March, where the final five and winner will be chosen by the 25 finalists.
In the words of the organisers, ‘the innovation or influence need not be radical, but it should have captured the imagination of others, changed their behaviours, improved pedagogy or school management processes, and had a measurable positive impact on children and/or independent education in the UK and, ideally, be replicable in other schools.’
