Comets’ Dinosaur Tea Party a roaring success at the Royal School

27 February 2019

CARNIVORES AND HERBIVORES WELCOME!

To celebrate their hard work this term, the Comets Reception class at The Royal Junior School were excited to invite their families to join them for a Dinosaur Tea Party.

Having written invitations and shopping lists, the children set to work making tasty treats. Sandwiches shaped as herbivores or carnivores (according to the sandwich filling they were using!), dino egg biscuits with repeating patterns and creative Bread-asaurus and Veggie-raptor dinosaurs completed the delicious edible display.

The children were excited to show the dinosaur bones they had excavated and there was great excitement when the time came to open the beautiful dinosaur eggs they had created. The Comets were thrilled to each hatch a baby dinosaur of their very own!

Mrs Adams, Comets class teacher, said, “A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, especially all the younger brothers and sisters who wore dinosaur themed clothes for the event!”
