Kingsley Represents Leamington in National School Awards

4 February 2019

The Leamington Spa based school was one of eight schools in the country to be shortlisted for the ‘Creativity’ and ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ awards. The school was thrilled to be recognised for its innovative Creative Curriculum, outdoor learning and Forest School in the Prep School, and for its in-house approach to marketing, which provides further learning opportunities for students in the fields of design, photography and video.

The nominations follow a string of recent award success, with the school winning the ‘Business and the Community’ award at the 2018 Leamington Business Awards and a ‘Highly Commended’ Independent School Parent’s ‘School of the Year for Video Production’ award.

Kingsley did not come away with a prestigious TES award this year, but were proud to be shortlisted amongst some of the leading independent schools in the country.

Headteacher, Ms Heather Owens, said: “for our school in Leamington to be nominated amongst such talent is an absolute honour. We are both overwhelmed and humbled, and very proud of our Kingsley community.”

Tes editor Ann Mroz said: “Independent education in this country is truly world class. It’s one of our great success stories. And those shortlisted for the Tes Independent School Awards are the crème de la crème.

“We received a record number of entries this year and the standard is the highest yet, so to be shortlisted is an extraordinary achievement for any school.”
