Overall, 76% of exams were marked A* or A, improving on last year’s results, with over 50% of students scoring A or A* grades in every subject. Among the subject highlights were over half of pupils scoring A* in Psychology, Geography, Art, Drama, Latin and French.
There were some exceptional achievements in STEM subjects too. LEH students have won places to study Design Engineering at Imperial College, London, Computer Science at St Andrews, Engineering, Earth Sciences and Material Science at Oxford and Natural Sciences at Cambridge. Ten students received places at medical school, including two at Oxford and one at Cambridge.
Head Mistress, Heather Hanbury stated, “Congratulations to all LEH students receiving their results today. Within the results there are many individual success stories to celebrate, reflecting two or more years of hard work and determination. We wish them all the best as they move on to the next stage of their academic careers.”
