Congratulations to the three sets of twins at Talbot Heath school, who achieved superb A-Level results in their chosen subjects and are set to study a mixture of courses including International Business, History and Politics. They are amongst the 35 students who contributed to the 100% pass rate, with 44 % of all grades A*- A, 74% of all results A*-B and 93% A*- C; almost all pupils achieved their first choice university place at a range of top universities for a great breadth of courses.
Further felicitations go to Naomi, Eleanor, Charlotte and Tate who all achieved A* and A grades in their three A-Levels and EPQ qualifications; the EPQ grades were once again extremely strong, with 81% grades A* – A. Ace results were achieved by Junior Wimbledon player, Erin, who attained three A-Levels and has secured a tennis scholarship at Berkley, University of California; well done Erin! Football star Ella, will be studying a Chiropractic course from October, in between professional matches for Southampton Football Club.
Mrs Holloway offered her congratulations to the girls and stated how immensely proud she was of their achievements and diligence, noting, ‘The hard work of staff and pupils has paid off and we have a cohort of well-rounded, considerate, principled young women who will make a positive impact on society in the future. They are off to realise their aspirations and we have set them on their way. A holistic approach and exam excellence are not mutually exclusive, as evidenced by the achievements of our pupils.’
