Course programme: 11.00 Optional tour of Shrewsbury School 12 noon – 12.45pm Lunch 12.55pm Welcome 1.00 pm Main Plenary Session – keynote, then panel Q&A 2.00pm – 2.40pm Multi-session 1 (four options) 2.45pm – 3.25pm Multi-session 2 (four options) 3.30pm – 4.10pm Multi-session 3 (four options) 4.10pm Concluding remarks / plenary with refreshments The 4 options for the multi-sessions are: A: RESIDENTIALS – the benefits & challenges of taking students from different schools on trips for academic / enrichment / inspiration B: SPRINGBOARD AND BUTTLE – transformational bursaries for boarding C: SHARING BOARDING INSPECTION FEEDBACK – learning from each other about how to ace boarding inspections D: BOARDING IN THE COMMUNITY – how boarding schools can partner with the community in ways in which day schools cannot Keynote speaker: Colin Morrison, Chair of Boarding School Partnerships.
