Malvern St James Girls’ School is pleased to announce that their website, launched in April 2020, has been commended in the international AVA Digital Awards with an ‘Honourable Mention’.
The AVA Digital Awards is an annual international competition that recognises excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design and production of digital communication.
Entries are accepted across a range of digital disciplines including websites, audio & video productions, social media and mobile marketing. They are judged on their own merit by experienced professionals based in the US who have worked on projects similar to the entries submitted.
Each year, Finalsite’s UK team submit to a small number of prestigious design international competitions including the AVA Awards and this year they were excited to put forward the Malvern St James Girls’ School website.
Nominations are made internally by The Finalsite design team and can include any Finalsite website. Each designer is asked to put forward websites they feel demonstrates creative excellence. The choices are then narrowed down by a small committee of Senior Designers at Finalsite.
Finalsite chose to nominate Malvern St James Girls’ School as they think it is a fantastic example of an innovative and purposeful school website. Its bold and vibrant, mobile-first design provides a fantastic, emotionally-engaging insight into the school and its community. This is supported by a really clear and intuitive user experience with great usability.
