26 March 2021

Notre Dame School has been shortlisted for Senior School of the Year at the prestigious Tes Independent School Awards 2021. The judges of this award were looking for ‘innovation, imagination and efforts to develop children that go beyond the league tables.’

Tes editor Jon Severs said: “After a difficult year for all schools it is an honour to celebrate the Tes Independent School Awards, not only to celebrate excellent practice but to ensure that practice is shared far and wide. We received an unparalleled number of entries this year, which is testament to the great work all have done during the pandemic. The schools that have been shortlisted should be proud – it’s a remarkable achievement.”

Mrs Anna King, Senior School Headmistress said: “I am thrilled that we have been shortlisted for this award and I am so proud of all our teachers, staff and students. Their unwavering belief in our school and our ethos, and their dedication and hard work ensures that we succeed in balancing academic, creative, sporting, moral and intellectual challenge with fun, laughter, trust and compassion every day.”

The Tes Independent School Award winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on Friday 30th April.
