There are celebrations today for Truro High’s Aspiring Medics – nearly a third of the school’s Upper Sixth students went through this bespoke programme and have achieved phenomenal A Level grades.
They are now heading off to study these highly competitive courses at a host of Russell Group and Top 10 universities.
Having all achieved 100% A*/A, Hannah, Emily and Jodie are now heading off to study Medicine and Kerrie is planning to take a year out whilst applying to start her course in a year’s time.
Jolie has earned the grades needed to secure her place at the top veterinary school in the world, the Royal Veterinary College and Shirley has earned her place to study Pharmacy at Nottingham, ranked 5th in the world for the subject.
Winnie’s exceptional grades have secured her a place to study Occupational Therapy at UK Top 5 university, Liverpool whilst Jess has secured a place to study Paramedic Science at Anglia Ruskin.
Ellie is heading off to study Bioengineering at UK Top 10 university, Sheffield.
