Two students at Monmouth School for Girls impressed in a NSEA (National Schools Equestrian Association) Show Jumping Qualifier.
Zoe Whitehouse, from Year 12, and Amelie Carver, from Year 10, took part in the 80cm and 90cm classes at Kings Equestrian Centre, Bromyard on Saturday 15th January.
Zoe clinched second place in the 80cm class and came away with just four faults in the 90cm class to qualify for Monmouthshire.
She will now compete in both classes at the National Finals in May.
Amelie also achieved a clear round in the 80cm class and had a very enjoyable day in the saddle.
Both girls’ performances delighted Dr Camille Geisz, the Equestrian Team Manager at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools.
