The free-scoring hockey players at Monmouth School for Girls have swept the board.
The talented Year 7 team stormed to three emphatic victories to triumph in the South East Wales competition.
The Monmouth girls scored an outstanding 25 goals, with Seren Wall in top form, in their three matches and conceded only one.
The girls recorded 10-0 wins against both Croesyceiliog School and St Joseph’s High School in Newport, and a 5-1 victory against Monmouth Comprehensive School.
PE teacher, Ms Sorrel Wilson, said: “The girls played some lovely hockey, often scoring after only about three or four passes from the pushback.
“The girls can now look forward to representing the region in the next stage of the competition.”
