Two former students at Monmouth School for Girls have enjoyed a special and memorable trip to Buckingham Palace.
Taryn and Darcy Birkett completed the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award at school in 2019.
After delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they attended the Gold Award Presentation this week at Buckingham Palace, hosted by the Earl of Wessex.
Taryn and Darcy enjoyed Duke of Edinburgh at school and found it a very positive experience.
Taryn was the school’s DofE prefect and was very involved in organising an expedition and assisting younger students preparing for their Bronze expedition.
