GSA schools are internationally respected for our high standards


True education is about developing all aspects of the individual and our schools are just as likely to encourage students to pursue excellence outside the classroom as they are within it. An extensive choice of extra-curricular activities is common place, as is experiential learning through foreign exchange programmes, sports trips and charitable projects.

Nevertheless, girls at GSA schools punch well above their weight when it comes to academic achievement. They are more likely to study and do well in STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) subjects than girls in other schools and up to 96% go on to higher education.

How do we do this?

A characteristic feature of GSA schools is our ability to nurture the potential of each and every child, including those who have a disability or a special educational need.  Smaller class sizes – with an average pupil-teacher ratio of 8.3:1 – and exemplary support mechanisms make it easier for students to form strong, mutually respectful relationships with teachers and receive the attention they need.
