BSA/GSA Inclusion in the Boarding Environment
BSA and GSA have come together with a short series of joint webinars considering the specific needs of both boarding schools, and girls’ schools. In this interactive webinar, Ceri Stokes and Joanne Dunphy will share their experiences with the following two topics…
Supporting all stakeholders including Non-Binary and Trans Students
There is a requirement for clear, unambiguous guidance within our organisation for how to support and include Non-Binary and Trans students whilst remaining compliant with legislation, and taking into account the needs and rights of all of our stakeholders. After a 3 month research project, Ceri will report back her findings on how schools have approached this successfully and any pitfalls they have found as well as what recommendations she has concluded from this research.
Developing a Neurodevelopmental Pathway in your setting
We will explore the development of our Neurodevelopmental Pathway, in the context of:
-the transition and induction of our pupils,
-development of emotional tracking tools (to be used as part of transition process, by teachers, House staff and our multi-disciplinary team)
-changes to our pre-screening and screening processes and timeframes
-formalisation of multi-disciplinary team and case management
Speakers:
- Liz Hewer, Head, St George’s Ascot
