How to keep energy in the KS3 curriculum

For both prep and senior schools:

Is your curriculum for Year 7 and 8 truly challenging your 11-13 year olds? Does it inspire in them a sense of awe, enquiry and convince them that learning is fun? After the changes at GCSE and A level, is it providing a firm foundation of skills and aptitudes on which to build for future success?

This course will help you define principles and practice for reviewing your KS3 curriculum and embedding change. Drawing on the experience of one school which radically changed how it teaches Years 7-9, it will focus on practical, realistic ways to review your curriculum and change for the better both what students learn, how they learn it, and how that is assessed. Blending academic, pastoral and co-curricular elements, the course will help you take a holistic overview of your curriculum and what it is for.

Half day course 9.30am-1pm.
