Online Seminar: Creating Partnerships with Impact

All GSA schools undertake at least one partnership activity with their local state school(s). But what is the secret to ‘going deep’ and creating truly reciprocal, long-lasting partnerships that have a real impact on those involved? Nina Gunson is Head of Sheffield High School for Girls, GDST, where – in partnership with 14 state primary schools from Sheffield South East Learning Partnership and the University of Sheffield – the Cool to be Clever Club supports and mentors some of the city’s brightest but most disadvantaged Y5 & Y6 children in order to maximise their potential. Nina will discuss this and other examples of the school’s partnership work which make a positive impact by raising aspirations and improving attitudes towards education, sharing her key principles for successful partnerships. Inspiration with plenty of practical advice and useful insights to help you develop your own ideas.

This seminar is delivered by GSA member Nina Gunson who is Head of Sheffield High School for Girls, GDST.
