2023
For all teachers with responsibility for pastoral care, this essential one-day conference with focus on the ever more complex mental health needs for children and young people from 8 to18.
Return to school refreshed and ready to implement new ideas shared by our speakers and GSA colleagues.
The day features two powerful panel sessions looking at concerns and challenges in both Primary and Secondary Sectors:
- Empowering students – feeling well in an uncertain world
- Empowering staff – encouraging autonomy in pastoral practice
Plus a range of Breakout Sessions including:
- Best pastoral resources
- Handling difficult conversations
- Supporting parents
- Sharing best practice in student voice
- Supporting Others in Dealing with Terminal Illness, Loss and Bereavement
- PSHE and RSE programmes
We are pleased to offer a discount for the second person in each school to attend (second delegate may book below for £100), so this is an ideal opportunity for schools to send more than one delegate – whether members of SLT, pastoral leaders, and those wishing to develop their pastoral skills.
