The YGAM parents workshop is a one hour information session designed to provide you with an overview of gaming and gambling amongst young people and give you some tips and tools to help maintain a healthy balance as well as what to look out for if you are concerned.
The aims of the session are:
Understand the benefits and concerns in relation to gaming, including microtransactions
Recognise the blurred lines between gaming and gambling
Understand Gambling: Exploring the influences on young people
Recognise the signs of harm and where to get further help and support
The session will take place on Thursday 23rd September from 19:00- 20:00 via Microsoft Teams, to book a place please complete this booking form. The link to join the session will be sent a few days prior to the session.
