The Marist School Ascot

The Marist School Ascot is a Catholic independent day school for girls aged 2-18, situated within 55 acres of woodland in Sunninghill, near Ascot.

We believe that education is much more than the acquisition of knowledge. It also involves physical, spiritual, moral, cultural, social and intellectual development in a rich and vibrant learning environment. We recognise that every girl possesses innate gifts, talents and skills as well as unique personal qualities.

By providing personalised care and attention, we nurture these attributes thereby developing her sense of confidence and esteem. We are proud to be a diverse community of individuals and we foster a family spirit across the school.

Our intention for your daughter is to unearth new interests, discover talents, enable success and build character. Your daughter will be inspired, challenged, supported and encouraged across her journey of development. We will provide her with a compass for life and she will know that she belongs to a larger community of like minded individuals.

Not only are we experts in the education of girls, we are delighted that we are now accepting boys back into our School Nursery!

Bursaries & Scholarships

Scholarships are available for Year 3, Year 7 and Year 12 entry.

For Year 3, we offer up to six academic scholarships worth a remission of up to 20% of the annual basic tuition fees each academic year. These scholarships will be offered to Year 3 pupils which are tenable to the end of Year 6 (both internal and external candidates are eligible). The scholarships will be awarded based upon the outcome of assessment tests which take place in November.

For Year 7, an Academic Scholarship is awarded following a student’s performance in the Entrance Assessment. There are three Academic Scholarships available; one of which will be awarded to a student of practicing Catholic Faith. Scholarships are also available in the following subjects; Art, Drama, Music and Sports. Students can apply for a maximum of two Scholarships and will automatically be entered for the All-Rounder Scholarship. Marist Prep Phase pupils are invited to apply for The Marist Girls Scholarship.

For Year 12, we also offer a variety of Scholarships including Academic, Art, Drama, Music and Sports open to all students. Students will need to supply a covering letter explaining why she should be considered for a Scholarship alongside their application.

Bursaries are provided to assist girls who would benefit significantly from an education at The Marist School and whose parents could not otherwise afford to send them. Bursaries are means tested and parental assets and income are assessed and reviewed on an annual basis.
