Marking the start of GSA’s Annual Conference for Heads GSA at 150 | The Time is now, ‘Captains of Their Ships’ premiered in an exclusive cinema screening to its members.

The commemorative short film was commissioned by the Association to mark its 150 year to celebrate its extraordinary and unique community of girls, headteachers, alumnae, and the collective power and purpose of girls’ schools. Created in partnership with Empathy Studios, and film maker Ed Kirwan, the film is testament to the enduring importance all-girls schools. The film is now fully and freely available for everyone to view. There are also free teaching resources for every age to use in all schools.
