Inclusion & Diversity
The GSA is implementing a strategy to help our schools in their continuing efforts to become welcoming, inclusive environments for everyone. Our strategy includes a range of actions – affecting people, policy, projects and partnerships – to enable and support our schools.

Safeguarding
GSA schools are required to have robust safeguarding procedures in place. They provide age-appropriate education on health, relationships and sex. Safeguarding is a focus of every inspection undertaken by the Independent Schools Inspectorate, which in turn is overseen by the DfE.

Whilst driving forward inclusion, diversity and safeguarding is the responsibility of specific GSA committees*, we recognise that these issues affect every aspect of school life, and so every GSA committee has a responsibility to consider how their actions can improve inclusion, diversity and safeguarding for the students in GSA schools.
