Lessons across the Prep School linked to books in imaginative ways, from exploring carbon footprints in Maths to investigating the water cycle in Science.
A standout moment on World Book Day was welcoming author Catherine Barr, who shared her conservation‑focused books, delivering an inspiring assembly and leading workshops that encouraged the girls to think about storytelling as a force for environmental change.
The celebrations continued with the opening of our new school wormery, building a bug hotel, singing and dancing together, weaving woollen turtles in Pre‑Prep, and creating dioramas and poetry inspired by Catherine’s work. The girls’ creativity shone throughout.
A huge thank you to parents for the thoughtful and eco‑themed costumes. They made the day even more special.
