Esports is organised, competitive, team-based video gaming and is already incredibly popular with young people, who both play and watch it online and in person with their friends.
As well as the development of key skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication etc, there are also inherent links to digital, creative media and STEM.
GSA is working with the British Esports Federation, the UK’s national body for esports to run a 4-week esports competition.
