Girls Go Gold: Day in the Life of a Student Athlete
This exciting one-day event has been designed to inspire and empower young women through sport, education, leadership and wellbeing. Students will have the opportunity to experience university life first hand and engage with current elite athletes and coaches, expert academics and high-performance practitioners from across the sports industry. This year’s Girls Go Gold Conference will take place at Loughborough University on Thursday 17 September 2026.
The conference aims to showcase the many pathways available within sport, both on and off the field, while encouraging confidence, ambition and participation among female students.
