At Norwich High Prep School and Nursery, girls can discover who they are and have the confidence to be themselves.
Our students thrive in the comfortable, family atmosphere, gaining the confidence to shine as individuals whilst flourishing as part of a warm, friendly community.
Students at Norwich High Prep School and Nursery are encouraged to be their best, but allowed to be themselves. Our excellent pastoral care is led by a committed staff team and our small class sizes mean your daughter will have space to develop her curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. In our classrooms all girls are active learners thanks to a classroom culture designed specifically for girls’ learning.
Outside of the classroom, there is an extensive programme of clubs and activities for girls to get involved in as well as day trips and residential visits in Years 4, 5 and 6. We offer excellent facilities across an expansive single site, which Nursery and Prep students enjoy access to, including a swimming pool and forest school, as well as a dedicated STEM Lab and Food Tech Kitchen in our Prep School.
The best way to find out more about our school is to experience it for yourself. We run numerous open events and taster days throughout the year as well as offering bespoke tours at a time that suits you. A member of staff will take you on a guided tour of the school, from our state of the art Early Years Hub to our specialist teaching rooms for STEM, Food Tech, Languages, Music and Art. You will be able to watch sample lessons and have the opportunity to talk to students, staff and current parents about your curriculum and pastoral queries. Your tour will include the facilities we share with the Senior School such as the Forest Schools area, the swimming pool and the sports hall. All prospective parents will meet with Mrs Roberts, Head of the Prep School and Nursery as part of their tour.
