Independent school admissions rising

The rate of children attending independent schools is the fastest it has been since the financial crisis, even following an increase in feels, according to research by the Association of Teachers and Lecturers.

Charlotte Vere, who is Acting General Secretary of the Independent Schools Council as well as Executive Director of the GSA, said that it is an ongoing challenge to balance increasing costs with the desire to maintain affordable fees but that independent schools have a real commitment to acknowledge and reward their teachers, who are their greatest asset and a key ingredient in the success and attraction of independent schools.
