Girls do better in single sex schools

Girls do better in all-girls schools because, in a ‘sexualised world’, there is less pressure on them, says GSA Head Rhiannon Wilkinson of Wycombe Abbey in Buckinghamshire.

Speaking to the Telegraph, Mrs Wilkinson said that girls mature more quickly than boys and that her experience in a variety of schools has shown her than teenage girls have a better educational experience in a class environment that’s free from the presence of boys.
