Fresh from winning two golds and a bronze medal in Rio, as well as smashing a world record, Paralympic swimmer Hannah Russell visited school to tell pupils from Years 4-11 all about competing at the highest level, overcoming adversity due to her visual impairment and achieving her dreams.
Hannah even shared some stories about room sharing at university with fellow Paralympian Ellie Simmonds. We were all moved and genuinely inspired by Hannah’s visit, which was topped off by her taking to the Cranford House pool for a virtuoso swimming display, providing an unforgettable moment for our swimming squads.
