Exam malpractice ‘unacceptable but rare’

Commenting on recent cases of exam malpractice, the President of the Girls’ Schools Association, Charlotte Avery, said:

“Cases of teachers breaching exam security are unacceptable but thankfully extremely rare. We would like to work with exam boards to initiate policies that prevent conflicts of interest by ensuring that teachers who set exams do not teach pupils who will sit the same exam. It is vital that individual candidates are not disadvantaged in any way.”
