FUTURE EDUCATION LEADERS – APPLY NOW

Leadership Mentoring –

deadline extended to 8 May

Our highly successful Mentoring Programme for Future Women Leaders, managed by Brightfield Consulting, will begin again after Easter. This is an opportunity for women currently teaching in GSA and ASGS schools to be mentored by an experienced leader and to enhance their confidence, leadership skills and career prospects.

Please encourage likely candidates to apply by the 8 May deadline.

Entry Criteria
Participants should be women and thought capable of reaching headship within 5-7 years. Otherwise, there is no restriction. Senior teachers, heads of department and members of SLTs have participated on the programme, with ages ranging from late 20s to mid 50s.

The Programme
Successful colleagues will take a short psychometric questionnaire, the Insights Discovery Evaluator. After receiving feedback on their results, they will then be allocated a confidential mentor. Participants are also paired with a local colleague to enable them to work in tandem on a community project of their choosing.

Timescale
The next programme will run for 4 terms from after the Easter vacation until the summer of 2021.

Cost
The programme cost is ÂŁ650 plus VAT per participant.
NB A limited number of reduced cost places are available to encourage participants from the BAME community; please contact Ian Wigston at [email protected] or tel: 07885 668527 for information.
