Queen Mary’s, a leading independent school between Ripon and Thirsk, is thrilled to announce the results of the recent Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection, confirming that the school has met all standards fully. The inspection, conducted every three years, serves as a testament to Queen Mary’s commitment to providing an unparalleled educational experience.
The ISI report highlights the school’s dedication to academic excellence and the holistic development of its pupils stating that “pupils are articulate and express their views clearly” and “develop a strong sense of self-confidence and self-esteem.”
The report commends the school on its Quality of Education, noting that “pupils benefit from a well-planned, balanced and flexible curriculum that enriches their learning opportunities and experiences.” Queen Mary’s Good Schools Guide review also acknowledges the school’s strong focus on high-quality teaching and learning, where traditional subjects coexist with Coding, Performing Arts, and Entrepreneurship within the Personal Development Programme.
Queen Mary’s dedication to personalised learning is evident in its diverse curriculum, offering a bespoke learning environment designed to empower pupils. The school prides itself on an extensive extra-curricular programme, with over 75 different activities each week, including Gymnastics, Dance, Debating, STEM, outstanding Music, and Choral provision.
