Would you like to learn more about investing? Once again, GAIN (Girls Are INvestors) are offering their annual stock pitch competition seeking to give students in years 10 to 13 an insight into what investment management looks like and key analysis skills.
Each team will be assigned a company (the stock) to research and then assess whether to buy, or sell the stock as an investment opportunity. Students will attend weekly online training sessions, delivered by industry experts, teaching them everything they need to know about how to create a stock pitch.
Supported by a mentor, teams will research all aspects of their company to make the investment case.
The final investment pitch will be a persuasive 3-5 minute-long video presentation showcasing their findings, supported by a written report outlining their research.
Submissions will be judged by a panel of professionals within the investment industry.
