St George’s Ascot has once again featured in the newly released Tatler Schools Guide 2026, published alongside the October edition of the magazine. The guide states, ‘This school excels at hands-on education, offering individual attention to each pupil so they can reach their full potential….’.
The Daily Mail’s Femail section covered the guide on 12 September, selecting St George’s Ascot as one of just ten most impressive schools in Britain to highlight from the Tatler Schools Guide, and notably, the only girls’ school to make the list.
Head, Miss Hannah Fox, commented:
“It is a real accolade for St George’s to be celebrated by Tatler Magazine in their Schools Guide 2026 and chosen as one of the five schools to spotlight on their Instagram reel. As the only girls’ school to have been selected by The Daily Mail for inclusion in their top ten schools featured from the Tatler guide, we are proud to be flying the flag for girls’ education. I believe so passionately in the distinctive, rounded and inclusive provision offered at St George’s which enables each girl to step out into the world confident, capable and connected.”
The Tatler Schools Guide is regarded as the ultimate round-up of Britain’s finest independent prep and senior schools, produced annually by Tatler’s education team. Its editors visit and review hundreds of schools before selecting those to feature.
This recognition underlines St George’s distinctive position in the independent girls’ sector combining academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care, and a thriving co-curricular programme that empowers girls to flourish.
