Students at St Augustine’s Priory, Ealing are celebrating another year of outstanding A-level results today, with impressive academic achievements matched by an exciting range of university destinations and opportunities.
48% of grades were awarded at A*– A, 84% at A*– B and 96% at A*– C. These results continue St Augustine’s Priory’s consistently strong academic record and reflect the ambition, determination and hard work of its students.
Students have secured places to study highly competitive subjects at their first-choice university. Among those celebrating is Natania (AAA), who will be studying Medicine at the University of Leeds. Her achievement marks the culmination of an especially significant journey at St Augustine’s Priory as Natania was awarded a prestigious Mary Tredway Scholarship for Sixth Form and is now looking forward to embarking on her medical career. Natania told us “I am really excited about going to study Medicine in Leeds. Staff at St Augustine’s Priory helped me so much, they were always there to encourage and support me.”
Success extends across an impressive breadth of subjects and destinations. Satoko (A*AA) secured her place at King’s College London to study International Management, while Mahika (A*AA) will go to the University of Manchester, where she will study Sociology and Philosophy. Other destinations reflecting the range of pupils’ interests include Modern Languages at the University of Bristol, Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, Classical Archaeology and Classical Civilisation at University College London (UCL), Biomedical Sciences at King’s College, Marketing and Management at the University of Exeter and Politics and Criminology at the University of Manchester.
Headteacher, Mrs Macallister said:
“We are immensely proud of all our students and everything they have achieved. While these outstanding results are certainly a cause for celebration, today is about much more than grades and it is wonderful to see our students’ hard work, resilience and individual talents opening doors to such an exciting range of opportunities.
“Whether progressing to Medicine, the Humanities, Sciences or another pathway, each student has her own success story to celebrate. These achievements are also testament to the dedication of our teaching and support staff and to the encouragement of parents and families throughout our students’ time at St Augustine’s Priory. My warmest congratulations go to them all.”
A Level student Shriya’s mother, reflecting on her daughter’s decision to stay at St Augustine’s Priory for Sixth Form before heading to Loughborough University to study Psychology with Criminology, told us:
“I’m so pleased she chose to stay at St Augustine’s Priory for Sixth Form. I went on all the tours with her, but I was delighted when she decided to stay there and it’s been absolutely worth it.”
Once again, St Augustine’s Priory students are progressing to an exciting range of destinations, ready to take the next step in their education and pursue their ambitions. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
