Badminton School is celebrating a fantastic set of GCSE results this morning, with over a third of Year 11 pupils achieving grades 9-7 in in every subject. Overall, an impressive 73% of all grades awarded were at grades 9-7, continuing the school’s strong academic performance from previous years.
These exceptional results are a wonderful reflection of the hard work, determination, and positive mindset demonstrated by this impressive cohort of pupils. Throughout the examination period, pupils approached their studies with their usual calmness and focus, while continuing to embrace their wider interests with enthusiasm, commitment, and energy.
These achievements provide a strong foundation for the next stage of their education, paving the way for continued success in the years ahead.
Year 11 pupil, Saanvi, was one of the group that received their results this morning. She said: “I’m so proud of my results, and really happy that I achieved the results I did. I’m also very thankful to my teachers for their support”.
Jessica Miles, Head, added: “This year’s GCSE cohort have all demonstrated incredible determination, studiousness, and enthusiasm, and these results are a reflection of those qualities. I am immensely proud of how they have embraced the demands of their schooling as well as co-curricular commitments with dedication and passion. Whether excelling in their classrooms and the exam hall, pushing themselves through various sporting endeavours, or contributing to our local Bristol community, they have all set a wonderful example of what it means to be a part of the Badminton community. It is also a reminder of what a girls’ school can offer — a place where every girl is known, supported, and given the space to become who she wants to be. I know that the whole school will join me in congratulating them on their efforts, and of course in thanking the staff who have helped to guide and support them throughout their journey so far.”
